I have loved the sound of the pipe organ since singing as a boy soprano at Saint Michael & All Angels in Baltimore in the 50's. I took lessons on that big Skinner until I graduated from high school. Many years later I fulfilled a dream and bought a used pipe organ, an 1899 2-10 James Cole tracker. The instrument quickly expanded with electric action chests. I had to find a bigger house then later had to add an addition on to the "bigger house", you all know how that works. Today the organ is a 3-20 playing 52 stops. The pipework is located (logically) behind the built-in case console and in a rear gallery (with separate blower).

I am the Quality Assurance Director for a computer distributor in the Boston area. I play the pipe organ for own enjoyment and for friends. My wife plays flute, we often play duets. I play mostly classical. I love exploring and listening to all pipe organs, classical and theater.

If you're in the Boston area, I'd be happy to show you our instrument. Oh, I have a 3 rank one manual "portable" (it fits in a minivan). I designed and built it to be used to accompany a large community chorus that I sing with.
